   Job Description –

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ø      Should have worked as team member in project.

Ø      Analysis, debugging and fixing of an issue

Ø      Creating test plans to validate the fix

Ø      Process Adherence

Skills Required (Mandatory)

Ø      Knowledge of Layer 2, Layer 3 or Carrier Ethernet protocols

Ø      Language : – C , Scripting Language - TCL

Ø      Test Plan creation

Ø      Test Design

Optional Skills

Ø      Familiarity in using traffic generations - Ixia  / Spirent / JDSU

Ø      Familiarity in using Packet Analyzers – Wireshark

2.         Role: Software Engineer

Experience – 1 to 2 yrs

Education - B.E (Electronics/ Computer Science)

Job Description –

Ø      Software Product Development for Ethernet Switches under Real Time    Operating System (VxWorks in C)

Ø      Requirement Analysis

Ø      Definition of Software Specifications

Ø      Implementation (Embedded Software Development - Hardware Specific)

Ø      Component Testing”

Skills Required (Mandatory)

Ø      1 - 2 years of professional experience in Embedded Software Developement in C programming language

Ø      Experience with Real Time Operating System (VxWorks), Mico-Controllers and Communication Technologies (Ethernet, TCP/IP)

Ø      Good knowledge of L2/ L3 Protocols

Ø      Good Knowledge of Scripting

Ø      Self motivated and self driven working attitude

Ø      Team Oriented
